The Tampa General Hospital Foundation was formed in 1974 by a group of compassionate citizens committed to providing meaningful philanthropic support to Tampa General Hospital. We offer grateful patients, concerned citizens, corporations and foundations many ways of supporting the enhancement of the hospital's continued excellence in patient care, medical education and research.
As a food bank, Feeding America Tampa Bay is a resource to 600 approved charities that run some type of feeding program. These include soup kitchens, food pantries, emergency shelters, and Kids Cafe sites. We provided food last year to more than 400,000 people. The 10 county service area in West Central Florida includes Hillsborough, Pinellas, Polk, Pasco, Hernando, Citrus, Sumter, Highlands, Hardee and Manatee counties.
Move For Hunger is a non-profit organization that provides an out-of-the-box solution to our nation's growing hunger problem. We are working hard to support the efforts of our nation's food banks. By teaming up with relocation companies, such as First Class Moving Systems, they provide an incredible amount of relief to those who need it most. To date we are working with over 330 relocation companies and over 120 real estate professionals in 42 states. Together, over 675,000 lbs of food has been collected for food banks across America.
The American Heart Association's mission is to build healthier lives, free of cardiovascular diseases and stroke. Heart Walks are held in cities and towns across the country, led by Leadership Committees who involve more than 10,000 companies and almost 100,000 teams of fundraising walkers. Last year more than a million people walked and raised more than $100M to fund lifesaving research and education efforts in the Heart Walk.

Honor Flight Network is a non-profit organization created solely to honor America's veterans for all their sacrifices. We transport our heroes to Washington, D.C. to visit and reflect at their memorials. Top priority is given to the senior veterans â€“ World War II survivors, along with those other veterans who may be terminally ill.
The Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation is the nation's oldest and largest need-based scholarship organization supporting U.S. military families. Since 1962, the Foundation has provided over 26,000 scholarships valued at more than $65 million, including nearly $5,000,000 to more than 1,600 students for the 2011-2012 academic year.
