Very pleased with all aspects of the move. Our driver, Eric James, was outstanding. The packing/load/unload crews on both ends of our FL to AR move were great and very accommodating to any requests we had. Kelly at the office handled logistics very well. Very dependable and super responsive in granting all my requests. The care and attention paid to ensure that all my items were packed safely wa
Great experience with First Class Moving! It started with Phil, who explained our options very clearly in a move that came with some complications (storing our belongings while we waited for the sale of our Tampa home to be final). Kelly was our contact after that. She was patient, attentive to detail and always empathetic. On Moving Day, Danny and his crew were wonderful. They were efficient, careful and professional on Day 1 in Tampa, which went smoothly; and at our destination, where things were not as smooth because an error at the storage site. But the moving team did not complain. Although we wound up with a slightly smaller storage unit, they made sure everything fit and was well cared for. From start to finish, communication was great and the company did all it could to minimize stress. I would absolutely use them again.
The movers did an amazing job packing things up carefully and moving it to the truckScott answered all my questions and did a great job explaining how it would all go town.

Common Questions for Art Movers in Miami

How much does it cost to move fine art or antiques in Miami?

In 2025, specialized art moving services typically range from $275 to $450 per hour for a 2-man professional handling team with a climate-controlled truck. Custom crating fees generally range from $150 to $800+ per unit depending on size and complexity. We provide detailed, itemized quotes following a virtual or in-person assessment of your collection.

Why is climate control necessary for moving art in Miami?

Miami’s humidity (often exceeding 70%) can cause canvas to sag, wood frames to warp, and oil paints to soften or crack. Our True Climate-Control fleet maintains a consistent 70°F and 50% humidity level to ensure the chemical and structural integrity of your artwork is never compromised during transit.

Do you provide Certificates of Insurance (COI) for luxury buildings?

Yes. We are familiar with the $2M–$5M liability requirements for premier towers in Brickell and Miami Beach. We provide digital COIs directly to your building management and coordinate all freight elevator logistics to ensure a seamless move-in.

Can you move and hang oversized mirrors or heavy sculptures?

Absolutely. Our installation team is equipped with specialized rigging and wall-mounting hardware to safely display heavy or awkward pieces, ensuring they are aesthetically centered and structurally secure.

How do you protect against "ghosting" or surface damage on paintings?

We never allow packing materials to touch the surface of a painting directly. We use archival-grade Glassine paper as a primary barrier – which is pH neutral and moisture resistant – before adding secondary layers of bubble wrap and sturdy “shadow-box” cardboard or wooden crates.

Your Collection is Irreplaceable. Your Mover Should Be Too.
