About the Role:

 As a Trailer Mechanic, you’ll be responsible for performing preventative maintenance and repairs on our fleet of semi-trucks and tractor-trailers. You’ll diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues, ensuring our equipment stays in top condition and ready for the road. Responsibilities

• Key Responsibilities:
• Diagnose mechanical issues in semi-trucks and tractor-trailers using advanced diagnostic tools.
• Perform preventative maintenance and safety inspections to keep our fleet in excellent shape.
• Test equipment and systems to ensure top performance and reliability.
• Repair and maintain brakes, electrical systems, and other critical components.
• Replace worn or damaged parts with precision and care.
• Accurately document all repairs and maintenance activities.

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED certificate required.

Qualifications

• Qualifications & Skills:
• Certificate or technical training in mechanics and truck repair (preferred).
• Strong knowledge of air brakes, hydraulics, electrical, and ABS brake systems (preferred).
• Experience using a variety of hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Valid driver’s license and a strong commitment to safety.
• Physical strength and stamina to handle the demands of the job.
• Welding or fabrication experience is a plus!
